Chloe Jones – Maxim – Single Review

Chloe Jones is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, England who has rich lifting vocals that will captivate any music fan. Her voice lends itself to the styles of folk / americana & country and has been inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Courtney – Marie Andrews, First Aid Kit, Brandi Carlile & Fleetwood Mac. Chloe has brought us EP’s Meet You There & Sundown which is a collection of songs about travelling around the USA, Chloe has performed at Buckle & Boots, Country On The Clyde, and Geronimo Festival and has graced the stage @ The Linda Chapin Theatre where she shared the stage with the likes of Sting, Adam Levine, NeYo & Daughtry. Today Chloe drops her captivating new single Maxim which I will be reviewing for you today.

Maxim – The track begins with sweet acoustic picks as the double bass tones flow effortlessly through the intro as Chloe’s mesmerising vocals make themselves known to us. The slow melodic beat is just perfect as we settle onto the sofa and pour ourselves a whisky and feel the soulful vocals wash over us as a fantastic stringed section really lets the track come to life and lets us feel the emotion pouring from this incredible artist. We are allowing these incredible vocals to take us on the journey with Chloe as she delivers a fantastic foot-stomping groove that really lets us feel the incredible beat that is oozing from the lyrics that just melt all over this dark americana groove.
