Review By Darren McIntyre
When Rivers Meet are husband & wife duo Grace & Aaron Bond who have been thrilling audiences up and down the country with their infectious blues/rock shows that really catch our attention. The duo from Essex, England first came to our attention in 2016 when they got together whilst performing in separate bands, they formed and began touring the UK in their VW Camper van until Covid-19 put the brakes on all touring duties, the duo then came up with the idea of a live stream which brought them 1/2 a million views from over 100 countries. The band have given us We Fly Free in 2020, and Saving Grace in 2021 and in late summer they will deliver their new offering Aces Are High, we have already had singles Perfect Stranger & Play My Game, hot on the heels of these 2 blistering singles comes the third offering in the form of
Seen It All Before, please settle in as I ready us for this killer new offering.
Seen It All Before – The doors come flying off as this dirty gritty riff catches our attention as the sludgy riff hits us like a thunderbolt that is here to cause trouble. The haunting powerful vocals of Grace erupt into life and let this foot stomper leave its mark as the heavy-ended piece really delivers and then some, we have an almost gospel choir bringing the backing to this killer track that is building and building as it brings epic fuzzy guitar licks that just shudder and shake this fantastic record that has us reaching for the repeat button. The depth and attitude of this record are plain and bring purpose to this shuddering beast of a track that is another surefire winner from BigBondyLittleBondy.
