Within Temptation is a symphonic/alternative/gothic & early doom metal band from Waddinxveen, Netherlands formed in 1996. The band have given us 7 studio records and on the 20th of October unleashed their blistering new record Bleed Out, From that comes the lead single Bleed Out which I will be reviewing for you today, Please settle in as I ready us for this mesmerising new offering.

Bleed Out – We get a haunting lyrical intro that suddenly erupts into a shredding power-driven riff that allows the smouldering haunting vocals to push their way into this fantastic record. The rhythm section is dropping deep snare drum beats that come armed with solid bass kicks that really let the track come to life, we have sizzling keys that send shivers down your spine as this fist-pumping rock track builds up and really delivers a cool rasping guitar groove that flows into a sludgy funk beat that then brings in a cool synth section that wanders freely through the composition as it just takes us on the journey that lets this band really express their depth and pure energy that just lays itself in front of us as the band just offload with sheer precision and attitude that we are feeling the love oozing from this colossal new offering.
