Danny Kiranos aka Amigo The Devil is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/banjo player from Miami, Florida, his music is influenced by American folk, country, rock & heavy metal, incorporating death & other dark subject matter.
Amigo has given us albums Volume 1 May 2018, Everything Is Fine October 2018, Born Against April 2021, EP’s Manimals 2010, Diggers 2013, Decompositions 2015, Cover, Demos & Lives & B-Sides 2020.
Amigo The Devil was in Glasgow in July and promised us before he left that we should expect something in the near future, the time is now as Amigo hits us with another blistering track Cannibal Within which comes from his new album Yours Until The War Is Over which drops 23rd February, please join me as I walk us through this exciting new offering from the master of dark, melodic, macabre music that is going to blow us away.
Cannibal Within – The track unfolds with banjo notes perfectly mixed with his fantastic vocals that let this fantastic arrangement come to life. Bassline is dropping sweet cool grooves that bring this track to our attention as the arrangement builds with fantastic tones that allow this track to flow only as Amigo knows best. The melancholy lyrics are just perfect as we follow the story as it takes us on the journey and lets us get inside the mind of this incredible artist as he lets the track twist and turn us and really believe this artist as he strums lightly on his banjo to really give the effect that we are there with him in this tale of the dark world that is just teasing us for his new release early next year.
