Speaking on today’s single release, Anna Gevorkian (vocals/drums) shares: “We dived deep into metaphors and used the lyrics as a form of poetry for this song. Lyrically, it tackles mental health, negative self-talk people struggle with when dealing with depression and how a lot of people act “happy” but internalize their struggles instead of being proactive in seeking help.” Reflecting on the track, Shaunt Sulahian (guitar) continues:
“I think this is one of the most powerful songs we’ve released both musically and thematically. It’s definitely an immediate punch in the face, but it also has a ton of melody, which is the balance we always try to have when we start writing a song.”Satellite Citi, comprised of the dynamic duo Anna Gevorkian (vocals/drums) and Shaunt Sulahian (guitar), has carved a
distinctive niche in the music world with its fierce sound and captivating stage presence. “Trouble Flower” is a song that encapsulates the essence of their artistry—a potent blend of raw emotion and musical prowess.
The music video for “Trouble Flower” takes this essence to new heights. Directed by the acclaimed Jorge Gonzalez, it plunges
the audience into a tempestuous sea of feelings, with the band performing amid a relentless downpour.
