Formed in early 2021, this father-and-daughter two-piece rock band have the potential to make waves in the rock music scene. With an output of eight singles and a debut album since the band’s conception, their music resonates with a raw energy that captures the essence of classic rock while infusing a contemporary edge.
Not Now Norman has joined forces with Tower-Rok Band Management marking a strategic move that promises to propel them forward in 2024. In anticipation of this exciting new chapter, the band is set to release a remix of one of their standout tracks ‘What I Want’ from their debut album ‘It’s Not This One’ on December 8th a remix that serves as both a celebration of their partnership with the management company and a testament to their evolving sound. The chosen track, a fantastic rock anthem, encapsulates the band’s style, featuring driving riffs from Zander and the compelling vocals of Taylor-Grace that have become their trademark. This ‘re-loaded’ version has a harder edge to it which will appeal to the masses.
Led by the powerful vocals of Taylor-Grace with her distinctive rock sound which some might compare to the iconic Alanis Morissette, she adds a unique and captivating dimension to this brilliant track. She certainly sounds like a girl with a hurricane at the back of her throat and can get her message across with true grit and passion. With Zander’s influences coming from the likes of Black Sabbath, Van Halen and Guns and Roses and Taylor-Grace’s coming from Pink and Joan Jett they have a fantastic fusion to make their own music stand out.

This single delivers a strong message and is about bullying. “It encapsulates that magical moment when the individual turns and after years of holding back because of bullying, stops caring what others think of them and starts living their own life”.
The band hope others find inspiration from the lyrics if they are in that situation to change their life! Delivering hard rock with a strong message in their songs is what Not Now Norman is about and they are a force to be reckoned with.
To celebrate the release of the single, Not Now Norman will perform at The Carlisle in Hastings on the 2nd of February 2024 with more dates being added to the diary.
There is also news of a second album to be released at some point in 2024 which I am really looking forward to.
