BAD TOUCH, the renowned blues-rockers from Norfolk, have unleashed their latest powerhouse track, ‘SPEND MY DAYS’, teasing the forthcoming release of their fifth studio album, ‘BITTERSWEET SATISFACTION’, slated to hit the shelves on December 8, 2023, through Marshall Records.
Enthusiastic fans can dive into the new single and secure their album pre-orders – available HERE.
Lead vocalist Stevie Westwood reflects on ‘Spend My Days’ as a musical journey encompassing the spectrum of love, loss, and the intricate emotions in between. He remarks, “It’s a meaningful and contemporary track, and we could not be prouder.”
Drawing inspiration from their collective past experiences, the band infuses hard-earned lessons in love and takes cues from rock giants like the Foo Fighters and The Struts. According to Westwood, this track stands as one of their most authentic and candid offerings yet, eagerly awaiting its release to the world.
‘Bittersweet Satisfaction’ signifies a new chapter for Bad Touch, brimming with determination and renewed purpose. Recorded at The Marshall Studio in Milton Keynes, the album was self-produced by the band, engineered by Marshall’s Adam Beer and Ollie Brightman, and later mixed in Wales by the acclaimed producer Romesh Dodangoda, known for his work with Motörhead and Bring Me The Horizon, ensuring the drums echo with immense sound.
The album collection boasts classic rock anthems pulsating with heart and soul, igniting lofty yet relatable aspirations within the Bad Touch camp. The band yearns to embrace the life of rock ‘n’ roll fully, perhaps even eyeing a spot on the charts, but ultimately cherishes the live experience—the unity of music lovers celebrating its healing prowess.
