Mando Diao, the Swedish rock maestro with over two decades of musical prowess, is proving that age has only fueled their passion as they release their latest single, “Get Down.” Fresh from the success of their English studio album, “Boblikovs Magical World,” which garnered acclaim during the past summer and spawned radio chart-toppers like “Frustration” and the German Rock Radio No. 1 “Get It On,” Mando Diao is not showing any signs of slowing down.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect as they gear up for a European tour commencing at the end of November, taking them through a musical journey across Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Holland, the UK, and France. However, what truly sets the stage ablaze is their collaboration with the TV drama “Boom Boom Bruno,” set to premiere on Sky / Warner TV Series on December 7, 2023.

“Boom Boom Bruno” is no ordinary cop drama. It revolves around the charismatic yet unconventional cop, Bruno, who controls everything in his district—criminals, hookers, and even his boss. Mando Diao’s task was to craft the official theme song for this thrilling new series, and they delivered with “Get Down,” a track that mirrors the energy, attitude, and high-octane dose of rock & roll that defines Mando Diao’s signature sound.

As the series unfolds with its intriguing plot featuring characters like Bruno, his new partner Mark, and a mysterious case involving a drag queen, Mando Diao’s music becomes an integral part of the show’s captivating atmosphere. The synergy between the band’s pulsating sound and the dramatic narrative promises an immersive experience for the audience.

“Get Down” not only serves as a tantalizing teaser for the forthcoming TV series but also stands as a testament to Mando Diao’s enduring musical prowess. As they continue to evolve and captivate audiences, this single reaffirms that Mando Diao is a force to be reckoned with, unyielding in their commitment to delivering electrifying rock anthems.
