Epic Album, ‘Let The Truth Speak’ and Upcoming Tour

By Justin Smulison

Earthside released their sophomore album, Let The Truth Speak. Available from Mascot Label Group, this epic, 80-minute prog-metal LP is so saturated in emotion and technical prowess that it requires several listens to experience this sonic experience fully.

The quartet brought in singers from various groups and styles – from Daniel Tompkins of TesseracT and Baard Kolstad of Leprous to vocalist extraordinaire Keturah. With each singer and player, a new energy or dimension is revealed.

Earthside blew away Jace Media Contributor Justin Smulison and spoke with drummer and composer Ben Shanbrom to discuss what it took to compose and produce this stunning record, and the excitement of bringing the songs to the stage for an upcoming tour with Caligula’s Horse in North America.

The intro and closing feature a clip of the 11-minute title track.
