Black Reuss – Crystal Clear – Single Review – Angels PR music

Black Reuss is a Gothic / Heavy Metal band from Triesen, Liechtenstein and is the brainchild of Maurizio Dottores who handles everything from music composition to production & lyrics. Black Reuss gave us 2 albums from a 4 series of compositions in the form of Metamorphosis in 2021, Journey in 2022, the 3rd instalment Arrival has just dropped and the 4th being Death will be sometime in the future. Maurizio brings us the awesome new single Crystal Clear which I will be reviewing for you today.

Crystal Clear – Dark mesmerising synth overtones are pouring from the intro as we ready ourselves for this Gothic onslaught that is coming for us. The rhythm section erupts with a solid snare drum punch as the bass kicks let the groove take this track onwards, the shredding power riffed guitar licks are steering this dark melodic number through and really letting it express itself. The funky bassline is handing us a sweet deep groove that just wraps itself around this synth-laden haunting arrangement that is building with every layer being peeled back as it just erupts with depth, and attitude as the smouldering vocals just let the tone direct this shredding guitar beast. The whole composition is a synth-laden melodic foot-stomping journey that will leave us wanting more.
