Hannah Rose Platt is an acclaimed singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist & storyteller born & raised in Liverpool but now based in Bristol. Hannah began cutting her teeth on the local live circuit and has become an established figure on the UK music scene, tonight Hannah stops off in Glasgow to bring her emotion-filled lyrics to the good people of Glasgow. The venue is filling up nicely as Hannah takes to the stage to huge applause from this eager crowd, she thanks us for coming out as she launches into the highly emotive –

Mara – Kicking off tonight’s show comes a real acoustic strumming number that brings deep basslines that let the soulful vocals work their magic as this haunting melodic number tells it’s own story. The boys are bringing the groove as Hannah’s haunting vocals flow effortlessly through this well-versed track as we feel the cool groove wash over us and let this toe-tapping track take us somewhere else, the whole arrangement is a real haunting affair as Hannah strums heavily on her guitar as the killer groove fills the venue and let’s us know that Hannah has arrived, we applauded loudly as the place feels the tone come at us, next up is –

Tango With Your Fear- Cool dark bassline drops in and lets us feel the darkness fall onto King Tut’s tonight as this fantastic track comes to life with real soulful vocals. The mixture of the acoustic/electric and bass tones let this awesome arrangement flow as Hannah’s timeless vocals flow effortlessly through this toe-tapping number as we get cool grooves letting the full effect of this enchanting number lay bare for us to hear tonight. The fantastic bassline wraps itself around this killer track has us transfixed as we lose ourselves in the timeless composition as Hannah really delivers with real energy, we stroll into the classic –

Beast In The Water – Incredible acoustic picks open this track as the bassline drops colossal tones that just allow us to watch in awe as Hannah brings her dark delicious vocals to this fantastic track. The guitar tones are just insane as Bagby gives us chills as he runs a metal tool up and down the fretboard as this haunting number unfolds and really transports us to another place, the whole arrangement is a story unravelling as Hannah tells the most incredible tale that has us standing still with awe as we are sucked into the dark vortex of the macabre world of Hannah Rose Platt as she delivers a well written haunting number that just catches us off guard, up next is fantastic –

Date Night – Deep bass tones flow freely through the intro as Hannah comes in with sweet haunting vocals that let this mellow track unfold. The storytelling is sublime as we get lost in the dark groove that hits us as the bassline drops killer grooves that really let this track breathe, we are standing motionless as this dark, mellow, haunting number builds and builds as we feel the whole place come together and let this band pull us close and feel the wonderful tones rain down on us as we embrace this fantastic musician and what she is bringing to Glasgow tonight, the set is short but packed with real power tunes that let us know that she is one to watch let me tell you, up next is the fabulous –

Kissing Room / 1954 – A cool silence descends upon King Tut as Hannah’s soulful melodic vocals fill the entire place and just stop us in our tracks with this awesome rendition. The boys are watching on as these incredible vocals just tell their own story as we feel the emotion pouring from the stage tonight, cool bass tones are hitting us as this slow well-versed number flows effortlessly through the venue as we watch with real joy as this incredible artist goes about her business and lets Bagby do his thing with his guitar as this haunting number strolls onwards and really captures all the emotion as it is filling the room tonight, we slide straight into the epic follow on of

1954 – Hannah tells us a story about this track as it will hit home for some I’m sure as she strums on her guitar as her incredible vocals come at us. There is something warming about this young lady as she just allows her vocals to wrap themselves around the venue and give us real warmth as she does what she does best – entertain. The boys are bringing the groove as the slight bassline is providing the backdrop to this mesmerising track as we stand motionless and let the song engulf us with it’s intensity and emotion that is just incredible. We have been entertained tonight for sure as we have huge smiles on our faces as we let this young lady take us to somewhere new tonight as we come to the last track of this fantastic set –

Feeding Time For Monsters – Hannah straps on her electric guitar and brings this classic track to life as we get delicious basslines that drop killer funk tones all through the intro. The vocals are just awesome as they grab you and let you come along for the ride and let us feel the lyrics as they dive deeper and deeper into the darkness and let the whole arrangement give us real depth. The boys are giving us sweet deep chords that wrap themselves around this thought-provoking number as we get a real punchy tone that is building and building as the track takes us one way then the next as we are taken to a dark place then shot straight into the light as the whole arrangement just pops and gives us delicious tones that are on the money.
