Review By Darren McIntyre
Dust Bolt is a Thrash Metal outfit from Landsberg Am Lech, Bavaria who originally came to our attention in 2007. The boys have given us 4 studio albums, 1 EP & 7 singles and on the 23rd of February they delivered their brand new album Sound & Fury, from that album comes their blistering new single Disco Nnection which I will be reviewing for you today.
Disco Nnection – The track opens with a blistering guitar lick that lets this foot-stomping rock n roll debauchery come to life. The pounding rhythm section hits us with a real solid snare drum beat that has bass kicks and cymbal crashes that let this gritty monster tell it’s own story, we get gravelly rasping vocals that let this thundering beast give us a full-on bassline that wraps itself around this synth-laden rocker as the pounding groove builds and builds with ease as the boys hit their stride and let the music do the talking as the foot-stomping beat brings cymbal snaps that are accompanied by a thundering beat that has shredding guitar licks that are letting this track open and soar as the boys kick in the doors and really deliver a classy groove track that has us stamping our feet to the pulsing beat that is flowing effortlessly through this guitar-laden rock n roll classic that will have us reaching for the repeat button again and again.
