The Treatment is a hard rock outfit from Cambridge, England originally formed in 2008 but played under the moniker of God Sacks Man. The boys have been lucky enough to play festivals such as Sonisphere, and Download which have led to support slots for the likes of Alice Cooper, Steel Panther, Thin Lizzy, Kiss, Motley Crue and the mighty Status Quo. Like most bands, the boys have had their share of personnel changes but this lineup is a strong power-driven unit that is going from strength to strength. The boys have given us This Might Hurt in 2011, Running With The Dogs in 2014, Generation Me in 2016, Power Crazy in 2019 and Waiting For Good Luck. The boys have been hard at work in the studio bringing us album no6 and talking about that they have just dropped a new single Back To The 1970 and take it on the road with them. Tonight they drop into Nice n Sleazy for their arranged/cancelled / rearranged show that has got Glasgow all Treatment crazy, the boys hit the stage to their intro music of Highway To Hell which gets us all revved up as we kick in the doors and hit the ground running with the awesome –
Runaway Train – A thundering riff oozes towards this sold-out sweaty crowd as the boys bring the heat and get this epic night of rock ‘n roll off the ground. The boys are up for it as they rip through the intro as Tom brings the soul with his rasping range that just takes this surprise night to the next level as Tagore slips in with a sizzling lick that works well with the rest of the boys the cool full on bassline drops colossal funk tones that reach the back of the hall as the tempo changes pace and Tag comes front and centre with sweet crisp chords that are held together with solid bass kicks that wrap themselves around this rousing opening track that just takes the roof off of Sleazy’s tonight let me tell you, the place is rammed and ready and waiting for these boys, we stroll into –
Let It Begin – Thundering snare drum punches that come with cymbal crashes get this colossal track off the ground as we jump up and down with swagger to this awesome track. The groove is just electric as the whole band just rises to the occasion and lets things go with the energy that is on the next level. Vocals are just insane as they bring a real rasping gritty vibe to this pounding beast of a track that comes kicking in the doors with a cool slick crisp solo that has depth and real groove as Tagore winds up the beat with cool sizzling picks that are just on the money. I can say that this early in the energy and rawness just me that these boys bring to this grand old venue tonight as the boys whip this excited crowd into a frenzy before we jump up and down to this infectious brand of rock n roll, we move onto killer new offering –
Back To The 1970’s – This is a new offering from their soon-to-be-released new album which brings a cool thundering bass kick as Dhani brings the noise from the back of the room. Tom’s soaring vocals fill the air as they take this track off down the road and let us feel this cool groove oozing from this 70’s inspired track, the boys are adding their weight with a twin assault of cool riffs that wrap themselves around this foot-stomping rock n roll classic that is getting us punching the air as the boys get us all hot and sweaty as this pounding 5 piece dig deep and bring the glitz and glamour to Sleazy’s tonight with a cool piece that leads us into –
Let’s Get Dirty – A thundering rhythm section brings this gritty powering beast to life as shredding riffs pour onto the stage as this killer track erupts. Snare drum punches are filling the air as the bass kicks combine with cymbal crashes as this beast rears its head and rolls on. Vocals come through and have a real distinctive gravelly sound that fits this arrangement perfectly as they drive this awesome track onwards. Bass chords are handing us sweet meaty funk grooves that =just wrap themselves around this shredding power driven opener that comes at us with a sizzling solo that throws out crisp licks that excite this swelling Glasgow crowd, the boys are bringing the noise as we feel the energy rise in the room tonight as they shred their way through this classic track that is a real killer track, we catch our breath as Tom thanks us for coming out tonight to this hastily re-arranged show which this brings a massive cheer before we move onto –
Bite Back – An AC / DC style riff pours from the stage tonight as the boys get us ready to sing as Tom commands us to get our act together as the boys step forward and drop slick cool riffs that get us all fired up as this pounding rock n roll monster brings the heat. The punchy groove has killer bass kicks that bring cymbal crashes that let the rhythm section take us on the journey with these boys as they are really enjoying this sold-out impromptu show that has brought real life to the centre of Glasgow tonight. The boys step forward and offload with awesome solos that smack you straight in the face with a real intensity that has us all fist-pumping and getting our funk on as we stroll into the epic –
On The Money – A cool thundering bass line is the order of the day as the deep meaty chords drive this juggernaut forward. The rhythm section is giving us pounding grooves that bring in bass kicks that really mix with cymbal crashes that are giving this track some heat. Vocals are just fantastic as they bring in the cool raspy tones that bring this fantastic composition together, guitar riffs flow freely through this track and drop sweet crisp licks that have a real edgy feel as Tagore just delivers sweet tones that are sharp and to the point, the audience show their appreciation and cheer loudly as we move onto the killer track –
Hold Fire – This is a rocking beast that comes hurtling towards us with solid snare drum beats as the bass kicks and cymbal crashes really let this track cut loose. The bass is dropping sweet deep funking grooves that hold this fast-paced arrangement together with ease as the gravelly soaring vocals grab a hold of us and just let the groove build and build before Tag comes for us with a sweet clean solo that has bags and bags of swagger that let us feel these boys as they move through the gears and blow the roof off of this place tonight and I will say that it is a real pleasure to be here tonight to witness this special show, up next is –
Wrong Way – A cool sweet crisp guitar riff wanders in and gets this funky powering beast off the ground. The rhythm section is driving forward and handing us deep pounding snare drum kicks that are followed by cymbal snaps that just give this track depth and direction. Bass chords are handing us cool funk-laden beats that just wrap themselves around this sizzling deep rocking track, vocals are just incredible as they have a cool gravelly tone that fits this rocking vibe perfectly. The guitar solo breathes life into this pounding rock track and just sets the place on fire with its real cool licks that have incredible tone, we move on –
Vampress – A thundering snare drum punch kicks in the doors as we get a crisp clean guitar lick that just rips open this fantastic piece of music. Vocals bellow out as they bring a gritty rasping tone that lets this track come to life. The plundering bass grooves wander freely through this arrangement as the tempo just intensifies with a thundering beat that lets the rhythm section give us solid grooves. Cymbal crashes give this track some attitude as it builds up to a sizzling killer solo as Tagore rips us a new one with clean fingerwork that is just telling us that these boys are just getting better with every performance. The energy in the room is hitting a fever pitch as the boys just let this juggernaut do its thing, we move onto –
Running With The Dogs – The boys get us all to jump jump jump as a deep bass kick rises from the back of the room and gets this rocking beast off the ground. The boys are giving it their all tonight as this killer track brings the heat as Tom lets his awesome vocals do their thing and take this track onwards as we get into this pounding monster that lets the boys cut loose and hit us with all they have, we are throwing our horns in the air as this melodic arrangement builds with each chord that flows from the stage tonight. This is a real crowd pleaser as the place is jumping and singing along to every word as the boys bring it, up next –
Shake The Mountain – The track opens with a plundering bass line that gets us in the mood with deep funk-laden chords that combine with snare drum punches that are on fire. Guitar riffs are pouring into the track and deliver slick cool shreds that bring this whole track together, vocals are bellowing into the night and deliver deep rasping tones that give this track bite. Guitar riffs are coming at us with the twin assault and really open our eyes and drive forward with crisp clean licks that have energy, depth and swagger to get rocking to the very end, we rocket into the awesome –
Get The Party On – A deep rasping twin attack comes through as the riffs pour into this killer track as the bass chords drop sweet clean beats that allow this track to open and flow freely through. Vocals are bringing the heat as they drop awesome gritty vibes that allow this track to lead us down the road and let the groove take over. Snare drum beats fill the air as the bass kicks combine with cymbal crashes that are just letting the rhythm section come at us and kick in the door for sure, guitar solo is just awesome as the riffs just come through and deliver a sweet clean heavy laden beast that is getting this crowd moving as the funky tones just let us cut loose, a sizzling solo offloads with slick clean riffs that just take the roof off this venue tonight, we are just getting warmed up as the night comes to an end.
