Highly acclaimed British metal ensemble ASHEN REACH makes a triumphant return with their captivating new single and accompanying video, “Lost,” available now. Fans can also look forward to the band’s eagerly anticipated EP, “The Fear,” set to be released everywhere on Friday, March 22nd.
The much-praised debut album, “Homecoming,” dropped at the close of 2020 and quickly garnered widespread acclaim. Despite navigating a global pandemic, the album propelled the rising quartet to national acclaim, leading to performances at esteemed festivals such as Steelhouse, consecutive years at Planet Rockstock, and headlining the Graham Harding Stage while opening the main stage in 2022. Notable appearances at NWOCR LIVE, Winterstorm, Call of the Wild, Firevolt, Rockmantic, and others, along with support slots for renowned acts like Inglorious, Stone Broken, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Myke Gray, and GUN, further solidified the band’s growing reputation.
The EP showcases full-throttle riffery, dynamic drum work, compelling melodies, and stadium-filling refrains. Describing the concept behind “The Fear,” the band explains, “The Fear was written and created as a concept release highlighting different fears and phobias, and how fear can also be used as a weapon.” The quartet adds, “We wanted to push our sound in a heavier direction as we felt this was a more organic evolution of where we are at musically in our journey as a band. We also felt the concept of the EP was a perfect canvas for our new sonic palette.”
