Following their critically acclaimed September 2023 UK tour, Robert Jon & The Wreck return to the UK for their “Red Moon Rising Tour” where they will play ten venues throughout November and December 2024.  

Planet Rock’s exclusive 48-hour ticket pre-sale starts at 10 am GMT on Monday, February 12th and will run until midnight on Tuesday, February 13th via www.planetrock.com.

Tickets will then go on general sale at 10 am GMT on Wednesday, February 14th at www.robertjonandthewreck.com, www.gigantic.com, and www.alttickets.com.  

Today’s UK tour announcement coincides with Robert Jon  & The Wreck’s forthcoming album Red Moon Rising released June 28, 2024. Released worldwide by Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records, the album is now available to pre-order HERE.

Produced by the legendary Kevin Shirley (Black Country Communion, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Joe Bonamassa), the new album is a bold declaration of evolution and rebirth that captures the essence of the band’s transformative years and sets a new course for their musical odyssey.

The album’s lead single and title track, “Red Moon Rising,” emerges as a beacon of this new era. With its funk-infused rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics, the song slightly departs from the band’s traditional sound. “Red Moon Rising started out as a simple jam in the room and took on a life of its own,” reveals frontman Robert Jon Burrison. “It’s about all the beliefs, myths, and traditions surrounding a red moon, symbolizing rebirth and change, which perfectly encapsulates the spirit of our new album.”

Following a whirlwind of activity in recent months, including the release of their acclaimed singles, “Ballad Of A Broken Hearted Man,”  “Help Yourself,” “Hold On,” and “Stone Cold Killer,” as well as their studio and live albums Ride Into The Light and Live At The Ancienne Belgique, Robert Jon & The Wreck continue to forge their path with unyielding momentum. Red Moon Rising is the culmination of their experiences, a testament to their resilience and a celebration of their collective growth.

Prolific songwriters with a wealth of new material who refuse to be constrained by traditional release strategies, the band’s new partnership with Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records allows them to work with the world’s top producers and release a steady stream of high-quality singles on an ongoing basis, cutting through the industry chaos and ensuring new music is accessible to fans as intended.

Reigning from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the Southern rock sound from the East Coast and make it their own. Since their inception in 2011, these native Californians; Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass) have been electrifying audiences all over the world with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and memorable tunes. Recently, keyboardist Jake Abernathy joined the band as an official member as they continue to tour and record in the studio. Simply put, it is difficult to ignore when these talented musicians take the stage.
