The South East’s Most Exciting Rock Festival Returns to Maidstone’s Mote Park in 2024

Grammy Award Winner Larkin Poe to perform at Maid of Stone.
We are proud to announce that US singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist sisters Larkin Poe
will bring their brand of Roots Blues Rock (gritty, soulful, and flavoured by their southern
heritage) to the County Town of Kent in July, off the back of their recent Grammy for Contemporary
Blues Album for the amazing ‘Blood Harmony’.
Larkin Poe headlines the Phoenix Stage on Sunday 21st July and is joined by a line-up that already
boasts US rockers Mr.Big, in one of their last ever UK shows and Living Colour, the multi-Grammy
award-winning US band, who will bring their unique sound to the event.
2024 will see the return of rock music to Maidstone’s Mote Park after the success of last
year’s event. An all-ages festival celebrating Rock, Heavy Rock, Blues Rock and Metal.
Also announced across the weekend are Australian superstars Wolfmother, Those Damn Crows,
Tyketto, Mason Hill, South of Salem, Jared James Nichols, The Commoners, When Rivers
Meet, As December Falls, These Wicked Rivers and Preacher Stone.
The Friday night opening party will be headlined by Scottish rockers Gun, as well as ex-Iron Maiden
singer Blaze Bayley, performing a special 30th Anniversary Iron Maiden set and White Raven
Down.

Maid of Stone 2024 will also welcome back the New Blood Stage, which will feature some of the
best up-and-coming unsigned bands, with the likes of Ashen Reach, Blind River, Crowley, Darnell
Cole and the Vibe, Phoenix Lake, The Hot One Two, Twister and Until 9 are set to perform alongside
the best local talent from all over Kent; Black Roze, Big River and Spyder Byte.
The final acts, completing the 2024 line-up will be announced next week.
Festival booker Chris Wright said “This is a great coup for us – for a second-year rock event to be
attracting international talent of this calibre speaks volumes about what we are trying to do here.
Larkin Poe is a phenomenal band and we can’t wait to welcome them to Mote Park”.
