The Now are a rocking 4 piece outfit from South Wales, UK, they have featured on Planet Rock’s Track Of The Week, ITV, and BBC Radio 2’s Johnnie Walker Show. The boys have graced the stage with the likes of Reef, Florence Black, Placebo, Noel Gallagher & Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Festival appearances @ Isle Of Wight & Planet Rockstock, the boys are about to drop their debut album Too Hot To Handle on March 1st, I am lucky enough to bring you Girl You Got Me so please sit back as I walk us through this sizzling rock n roll bruiser.

Get Out – A cool funky bass kick gets this epic track underway as we get a moody vocal that just sets the tone as this foot-stomping track comes for us. The synth tones are letting this groover track bring the funk as the sweet acoustic strumming chords let this track breathe, we have a deep bassline that is handing us cool funk grooves that work so well with the rhythm section as the punchy snare drum beats get the juices flowing. The boys are setting the bar high with this finger-snapping groove-laden funkadelic track that just grabs your attention.

Devil Inside Me – The track kicks off with a riffed intro that has depth, attitude and swagger as the punchy rhythm section kicks in the doors and lets this cool rocker come for us. The gravelly vocals flow into this grungy rocking track as the boys let go and give us a real shredding beast that has us stamping our feet as this cool arrangement grabs your attention. The bassline is handing us sweet deep funk tones that are running with the cool punchy guitar riffs that elevate this cool piece. The shredding guitar licks give us a real rocking feel as the boys bring a certain swagger to this toe-tapping rock n roll bruiser that ticks all the boxes with its real edgy feel that is letting us reach for the repeat button for sure.

Girl You Got Me – A dirty funk-laden bassline drops in with a cool groove that is followed by cymbal crashes from a punchy rhythm section that leaves the bass kick open. We get a sweet clean guitar lick that wanders freely through the track before the tempo changes direction and hits us with solid snare drum punches that let this track off the leash. The gritty vocals are building and building as this cool arrangement just takes us by surprise as the rasping guitar riffs entwine with the full-on bassline that lets this track open and soar. These boys are certainly building a reputation as ones to watch for sure and I am a testament to that as this punchy rocking monster lets these boys express themselves with ease.
