Review By Darren McIntyre
Soraia is a pop/punk trio from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA who delivers Indie / Garage / Rock n Roll vibes that just let this exciting power-driven trio take this genre to the next level. The band have garnered a lot of attention from rock’s elite and continues to raise the bar with every release, the band have given us Dead Reckoning in 2017, Dig Your Roots in 2020 and today they dropped the stand-alone single Bang Them Bones which I will be reviewing for you today.
Bang Them Bones – A solid snappy snare drum beat wanders freely through the intro as the dark, melodic vocals let this track break free and take us on our way. There is a cool meaty bassline that is wrapping itself around this foot-stomping gritty rock n roll bruiser as the tempo grabs you and lets the groove take over. The track is a fast and furious walk through a pop/punk riff that has a solid footing that has us punching the air with joy as we feel the track erupt with slick clean guitar licks that are backed with a funky rhythm section that delivers deep punchy tones that brings this killer track together, the trio gels with soaring vocals and a thundering rhythm section that lets the bassline melt all through this delicious, dark melodic number.
