Review By Darren McIntyre
Burn Down Eden is a melodic death outfit from Dresden, Germany that came to our attention in 2012. The boys have given us 3 Albums, 4 Singles & 2 EPs & on the 5th of April, the unleash their new 5 track EP Dismal for our listening pleasure, from that new offering comes lead single Reap The Apocalypse which I will be bringing you today, please sit back, strap yourself in and be prepared for blast off as the boys kick in the doors with this blistering new opus.
Reap The Apocalypse – The track comes at us with swirling guitar licks before the doors are completely blown off as this colossal growler beast is unleashed. The dark, melodic, growler vocals are littered throughout the arrangement as the thundering double bass kick rains down on us as this thrashing beast brings the noise, shredding power guitars spreading the riffs as they combine and shatter the silence with their quick shredding tones that are wrapped in deep, dark basslines that are flowing effortlessly through this growling beast that is handing us melodies by the truckload as we feel the epic musicality crash through the doors and punch us straight in the face with its rawness, swagger and sheer depth that is unreal. The boys are firing on all cylinders as this throaty beast leaves its mark and lets us know that the boys are back and back with a bang with a raw, unapologetic monster that is coming for us.
