Spread the love

Review By Darren McIntyre

Beth Hart is a musician/singer/composer from Los Angeles, California who rose to fame in 1999 with her single LA Song(Out Of This Town) which came from her second album Screaming For My Supper. Beth is not only a musician/singer/composer but is an accomplished piano/guitar/bassist/cello & percussion player too, Beth has collaborated with the likes of Slash, Joe Bonamassa & Buddy Guy and toured with the likes of Jeff Beck. Beth has had her struggles of late and decided to pen a track that highlighted this, today she released her stunning new single Little Heartbreak Girl which I will be reviewing for you today.

Little Heartbreak Girl – The track begins with Beth’s soulful tones oozing into this highly personal arrangement before sweet piano notes linger through the intro as a punchy snare drum beat lets the rhythm section come in and let the track break free. The smooth dark bassline hands us mellow grooves that work incredibly well with this thought-provoking track as we feel the emotion pouring from every note that comes at us, the vocals are smooth with depth and real soul as she just loses herself in this incredible arrangement that lays her bare and brings out the pure emotion that we have come to know and love Beth for. The whole track just transports us to another place as we feel the pureness of this incredible musician as she gives it to us what an all, just incredible.
