Gus G. and Firewind ‘Stand United’ In the U.S.

I’m a big fan of Greek Guitar maestro Gus. G, and since his band, Firewind is bringing their unique brand of power metal to America in support of the new album, Stand United, I had to catch him before he hopped on a flight.

We talk all about Stand United and its predecessor studio album (which is self-titled), as well as the recent two-disc live release, Still Raging, and his instrumental solo album, Quantum Leap, all available via AFM Records. We also talk about his excitement to headline the “Stand United Tour,” with support from Edge of Paradise and Immortal Guardian and what fans can expect – in addition to some killer shredding – in the setlists.
