Review By Darren McIntyre

Edge Of Paradise are a Hard / Heavy / Industrial / Symphonic metal band from Los Angeles, California who originally formed in 2011. The band like most have gone through some changes in personnel but have kept the music the main focus, the band have given us Mask in 2011, Immortal Waltz in 2015, Universe in 2019, The Unknown in 2021 & Hologram in 2023. The band have just signed to Napalm Records and deliver us their blistering new single Rogue(Aim For The Kill) which I will be reviewing for you today.

Rogue(Aim For The Kill) – The track kicks off with a real gritty rasping guitar riff that is joined by a pounding rhythm section that brings punchy bass kicks that let the snare drum beats control the groove as this symphonic beast kicks in the doors and really brings this crunching track to our attention. The melodic vocals from Margarita are just allowing this monter to soar as the epic bassline drops the hammer on us and gives this track depth, direction and bags of swagger, the tempo changes direction as synth tones flow effortlessly through this melodic monster as we get a real Industrial feel oozing from the whole arrangement. The fast paced punchy groover track has everything you need from a symphonic / hard / heavy based track that just tingles the senses with it’s real edgy groove that leaves us wanting more from this anthemic Los Angeles outfit.
