Nadine Khouri is a singer / songwriter from Lebanon who had dreams of becoming a pop star as a child, she began her career as an acoustic singer / songwriter in New York City before moving to London and being discovered by legendary producer John Parish. Nadine has toured with Aldous Harding, Josh T Pearson, This Is The Kit & many more. The Night Will Keep Us Warm – The track begins with a haunting stringed fusion intro as the sultry bluesy vocals from Nadine capture our attention. The mellow guitar picks are making themselves known to us as this incredible track unfolds with sublime musicianship that just catches us offguard, the killer bassline is wrapping itself around this jazz infused piece that suddenly bursts into life with a cool solid snare drum groove that flows effortlessly through the arrangement as the smooth smoldering vocals really let this track breathe. We are getting soft bluesy hints of dark grooving guitar licks that are surrounded by the incredible vocal tones that really let us float away and feel the intensity pouring from this astonishing piece of music that just takes your breathe away, we are captivated by the dark, moody vocals that give this track depth, emotion and bags of soul as we let the groove wash over us.
