She Burns Red
For those who are new to the band, She Burns Red are a four-piece rock band that have worked their socks off to get to where they are today. Touring up and down the UK several times, has earned Scott, Andy James and Naz the recognition they deserve, and tonight was a show of how polished a band they have become because of it.

With the crowd nicely warmed up by Big Iron and The Hot One Two, the guys take to the stage to a massive cheer from the crowd who by now are buzzing to see them perform. With a rock sound that was borne from their own creative ideas mixed with

influences from the likes of The Deftones, Danko Jones and The Foo Fighters, they have produced songs that resonate with everyone.

There’s something quite magical about She Burns Red, as they launch into a sixteen-song set made up of songs from their debut album ‘Out of Darkness’, (if you’ve not got that yet you really must sort that out). They punctuate the tracks from the album with old songs such as ‘My Curse’, Copernicus Falls’, ‘Tell Me How It Ends’ and ‘Gone’, as well as new tracks that will be featuring on their next album, due out early next year. Halfway through the set they play what will be their next single ‘Maelstrom’ (release date Sept) in which Scott drums a blinder of a solo, getting cheers every time he stops and raises his drumstick.

With the crowds’ voices at their loudest for ‘Crosshairs’ the guys don’t have to sing a single word. I can’t imagine what that must feel like for a band to hear their lyrics sung back to them at such a volume, but it all adds to the unbelievable atmosphere in the room.
Suddenly the night comes to an end, and I don’t know where the time has gone, which is always a great marker for a phenomenal evening. No one left La Belle disappointed, no one failed to be impressed by what a night they had just been a part of and for those who had seen She Burns Red for the first time, I will definitely be seeing them at another She Burns Red gig soon.

Having seen the guys play many a time, I felt that tonight they were just exceptional as they gain momentum on their upward trajectory, and I felt very lucky to be a part of tonight’s show.
