Review By Darren McIntyre

American Jetset are a hard rocking quartet from Baltimore who crashed the party in 2018 with their debut album Live Love Die on Main and followed that with Saloon Rock Whiskey Pop & Cat’s Got your Tongue. The boys have been rocking hard and youring throughout the USA with support slots and headline shows and they have also been writing and today they deliver their killer new album 1987, from that comes the title track which I will be reviewing for you today.

1987 – A crunching guitar lick pours from the intro as the gravelly rasping vocals let this 80’s inspired rock n roll monster kick in the doors and bring this foot stomping beast to life. The pulsing bassline wraps itself around this killer track as we really get into the meat and bones of this fantastic outfit, the fist pumping track really captures the essence of the 80’s with this classic cut that just brings us bang up to date with these rockers as they deliver a well crafted, foot tapping track that brings us sizzling guitar licks that are wrapped in melodic vocals that really catch your attention. The whole arrangement is a well versed piece that just brings us a killer riff that tells us that these boys show no signs of slowing down.
