Review By Darren McIntyre

Robert Jon & The Wreck are a blues rock 5 piece hailing from Orange County, Southern California who have been riding on the crest of a wave at the minute, sold out European tours, award winning live album that has seen them gather new fans from far &and wide. The boys are one of the hardest working rock n roll bands on the scene at the minute and have been touring constantly throughout Europe / USA and beyond, the boys brought us singles Worried Mind &  Give Love from their soon to be released new album Red Moon Rising due for release June 28th, now they follow that with colossal new track Trouble which I will be reviewing for you today.

Trouble – A real gutsy rocking groove pours from this deep pounding south rocking outfit as the bass kicks get this awesome track off the ground. The soaring gravelly vocals wrap themselves around this foot stomping blues soaked rocker track that has Silky smooth Hammond style keys littered throughout the arrangement, the boys are really firing on all cylinders as they kick in the doors and deliver a soulful blues / country riff that just lets this track open and bring us a classy beat that is off the scale. The dark grooving bassline is hitting us with delicious mellow beats that let this fantastic beast rear it’s head as the whole composition just struts around with it’s head held high, we are getting that warm fuzzy feeling as the boys bring us yet another floor filler that just ticks all the boxes.
