Mojo Thunder are a 4 piece rock n roll outfit from Lexington, Kentucky who came to our attention in 2018 and everything has been building up to this moment as we anticipate the release of their debut album The Infinite Hope. The boys have been honing their craft and gigging all over the place and have graced the stage with the likes of All Them Witches, Justin Wells & Tyler Childers, the boys bring us their new single Step By Step which I will be reviewing for you today.

Step By Step – A sweet fuzzy guitar riff pours from the stage as this grooving toe tapper flows and flourishes into a real funky fist pumping rock n roll favourite. The boys drop in with a funk laden bassline that wraps itself around this killer groove that is steeped in soulful melodic vocals that let this track cruise off down the road, the tempo is just awesome as the boys are working tirelessly to give us a deep south groove that has a pounding rhythm section that allows this track the room it needs to breathe.

The slick guitar combo is setting this track alight as the sizzling riffs just deliver a killer lick that is just incredible, the whole arrangement is a toe tapping thigh slapping rock n roll juggernaut that lets us know that these boys want to get us on our feet and feeling the funk beat ripple through this awesome piece of music.
