Wherever there is a Ying you find a Yang, You will always have both nightmares and dreams, Some of us enjoy pleasure and some of us pain but you will always find beauty within the horror.
However you perceive life there is always a heaven and hell or a good or bad, suffering and joy. These things come in pairs they are 2 sides. This is the same for a person there can be 2 sides in constant conflict with one another battling away at the deepest darkest corners of your mind. For some it is more extreme than others and the sheer chaos of it all is like broken glass and flesh in a blender and somehow it needs to be released. There is an artist out there who has caught my attention for this very reason.
N0trixx is an artist who has taken us on a journey into the the bottom of the deepest and darkest cracks of her mind and displayed it in horrifically wonderful fashion. She has utilised this to her artistic advantage and what it is like to live with more than one person or one thought or too many thoughts in your head and given it a platform.
The incredible and sometimes shocking nightmarish spectacle of N0trixx will only take your breath away. She will tap into a subconscious that you had never known existed or touch a nerve that was once buried deep inside laying dormant. But that is ok! It is ok to talk about these things and share the load of your mind with anyone willing to hear you.
N0trixx brings a fusion of art, horror and nightmare to a back drop of sub bass, beats and guitar. The self produced, artist, DJ and performer has crafted a wonderfully horrifying vision of the mind. This is a testament to how mental health effects us all in one way or another. Every single person will deal with a conflict of morals or right and wrong. We all have little voices that want to guide or instruct us or destroy us and what to do and how to do it, but then we only criticise ourselves. To some extent our minds want to hide the horror of reality away or make us become the things we never want to be. N0trixx takes this chaos and darkness and these nightmares and shares them with us. The darkest and most frightening aspects of life are always closer to home than you think. Sometimes they needs to be out on display for people to understand just what the hell you are going through.
N0trixx has a raw and powerful energy and the live perfomance is moving and shocking and equally beautiful. The beats, bass and production are awesome, the lyrics are touching and relatable and aggressive. The emotion and trauma is there to see and feel. But its ok! It is ok for you to be able to show the world who you are. N0trixx is doing this.
She has come to show the world you can be powerful, dark, disturbing but also creative, relatable and passionate but most of all proud.
To be able to show case such emotional turmoil encapsulated within music is no small feat and the horror/metal/industrial/Electric fusion or Trap Metal is the actual sub genre is the perfect way to demonstrate how this may sound and how it may look if given the chance to break free.
If you are prepared to go on a journey to the darkest places and feel the emotion of the trauma some of us face everyday. N0trixx is the artist to take you there. The performance will leave you in ore and the music will shake you to your core but you will know you have witnessed something truly special and unique from an exceptionally talented and powerful woman. She is owning it all and slapping us in the face with it.
N0trixx is a voice for those of us that feel they cannot talk or vent or have platform to be heard. She is an advocate and ambassador for mental health and it is more important now more than ever to have someone fighting that corner. Too many of us are living in fear of the horror we have inside or may face, but it’s OK! We just have to embrace it from time to time and understand it is what makes us who we are.
I highly recommend visiting the world of N0trixx you may find it weird or shocking, violent or aggressive but you maybe will find something you was not expecting that is beautiful and real.
N0trixx will be looking to perform throughout the UK later this year and she will be hitting the road with the incredible father son duo 12Gaugue, who are a perfect blend of metal, rap, anger and chaos with hard hitting beats.
