Robert Jon & The Wreck are a blues rock 5 piece hailing from Orange County, Southern California who have been riding on the crest of a wave at the minute, sold out European tours, award winning live album that has seen them gather new fans from far &and wide. The boys are one of the hardest working rock n roll bands on the scene at the minute and have been touring constantly throughout Europe / USA and beyond, the boys brought us singles Worried Mind, Give Love, Down No More, Ballad Of A Broken Hearted Man from their soon to be released new album Red Moon Rising due for release June 28th, today the boys drop track 12(bonus track) Hate To See You Go which I will be reviewing for you, please sit back as I take us through this very personal piece of music.
Hate To See You Go – Killer piano tones flow effortlessly through the intro as Henry & Robert combine to deliver a slick cool twin assault that really lets this track fly. The vocals are just oozing a blues / country vibe that just takes this arrangement to another place as the boys really come together and give us a real toe tapping, take your lady around the dancefloor groove that is just awesome. The bassline from Warren is wrapping itself around this crisp, punchy beat that is building with each layer of funk that is oozing from this electrifying 5 piece from Orange County as they really come together and drop an almighty beast of a track that is something special. The rhythm section is commanding the beat as it really gives this track depth and bags of attitude as Henry steps in and drops a killer solo that just cements these boys as one of the hardest, melodic working bands out there today.
