Review By Darren McIntyre
Mojo Thunder are a 4 piece rock n roll outfit from Lexington, Kentucky who came to our attention in 2018 and everything has been building up to this moment as we anticipate the release of their sophomore album The Infinite Hope. The boys have been honing their craft and gigging all over the place and have graced the stage with the likes of All Them Witches, Justin Wells & Tyler Childers, the boys brought us single Step By Step and follow that with this rousing country rocker Let It Fall which I will be reviewing for you today, please grab yourself a cold one and prepare to be dazzled.
Let It Fall – We get soulful blues filled vocals that just stop you in your tracks as the boys bring us this uber cool blues rocker that just lets us feel the groove from the getgo. We have a cool bass kick that comes at us with an effortless feel as the snare drum punches work well with cool cymbal snaps that really give this track a real funk element, the deep funking bassline is dropping sweet, cool grooves all over this toe tapping arrangement as the boys just take it up a notch with this classy piece that just ticks all the boxes. The boys are certainly bringing the heat with this one as we feel the energy pulsing through the track as the boys give it all they have as we just tap our toes to this super infectious composition that will have you reaching for the repeat button for sure.
