Review By Darren McIntyre
Roisin McCarney is a powerhouse singer / songwriter from Glasgow who’s previous single Sidelines was a BBC Radio Scotland ‘ Track Of The Week ‘. Roisin’s music comes from her own experiences most recently dealing with personal heartbreak, Roisin’s new music is heavily influenced by an array of strong female singers from the 2000’s, Think Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus & Girls Aloud and you will get an idea of how this young Glaswegian thinks. Roisin has previously given us tracks like Sidlines, One Day, Villian & Dance With The Devil, Roisin has been busy writing and getting herself gig ready and has brought us a new track The Juggler which has a real dance vibe flowing through it, please join me as I take us through this bouncing new offering.
The Juggler – There comes a real pulsing sampler groove from the getgo that has cool synth tones littered throughout as this toe tapping floor filler comes hurtling towards us. The vocals are strong and really catch your attention as you hear the pop influences flowing freely through this punchy groove number, we are drawn to the soulful melodic vocals that work well with the cool, catchy rhythms that are just pulsing effortlessly through this cool arrangement. The track has a real fresh feel to it as it just grabs your attention and tells us that Roisin is back and back with a bang.
