Not Now Norman – Release Thank You Song

Spread the love

Single – Mama

Release – 30th August 24

Review by Linda McDermott

Critically acclaimed Northeast rock band Not Now Norman announce the release of the third single, ‘Mama’ from their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home.’ Taylor-Grace says “The song was written as a thank you letter to my Mum, who has been my rock since I can remember. It’s a thank you to the people in your life who support you and guide you no matter what, and help you realise your true potential. In my case, that is my mother.”

The single will be released on Friday, August 30, 2024, followed by more singles throughout the year and their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ is due for release towards the end of the year.

To celebrate the release of the single, Not Now Norman will perform at The Party in The Park in Morpeth on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Not Now Norman are:

Taylor-Grace – Vocals

Zander Brown – Guitar & Backing Vocals

Emerging as a powerful force on the rock scene, this band are making waves with their edgy, dynamic tracks. Fronted by the charismatic Taylor-Grace, their music is marked by her rich, tonal voice that brings a unique depth to their sound. This song is slightly different from what I’ve come to expect from the band, in that it is more melodic and emotional.

Not Now Norman’s new single is a poignant tribute to Taylor-Grace’s mother and allows listeners to hear her voice without all the angst that some of the bands other songs have. Her expressive vocals are the heart of the track, delivering the lyrics with a perfect blend of emotion and precision. The band’s music serves as the perfect backdrop, that enhances the sincerity of the song.

Together, the band create a compelling and relatable anthem that highlights their ability to appeal to a wider range of listeners. This single is not just a showcase of their talent, but a testament to their ability to connect with audiences on a personal level.

I really like this band; I like the style of their rock music, I like Taylor-Grace’s voice, and I like her stage presence.

Delivering Hard Rock with a strong message in every track, Taylor-Grace commands the front of a stage as she delivers their great songs as Zander Brown plays gutsy riffs on guitar. Not Now Norman are at the helm of everything they do, from their sound to their image and are fiercely independent as they grow their brand. I can’t wait to hear their new album.
