Sons of Liberty’s latest offering, The Details of the Devil, packs a powerful punch, showcasing the band’s signature Southern-infused hard rock sound. The EP kicks off with Time To Fly, setting the tone with its fiery guitar work and anthemic chorus. It’s an explosive start that grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go. Turn This Tide keeps the momentum going, combining a gritty riff with lyrics that speak of resilience and rebellion, a theme that resonates throughout the entire EP.
Light The Fuse is an adrenaline-charged track that lives up to its name, with a relentless pace and a hook that demands repeated listens. The raw energy continues in Tertulia Time, where Sons of Liberty add a groove-laden edge, fusing heavy rock with swagger-filled Southern blues, making it a standout on the record.
The penultimate track, This Town, slows things down ever so slightly, but not without sacrificing intensity.
