Rising British metal quintet Rogue Awakening makes a bold statement with their new single, Bloodflow. Hailing from Horsham, UK, and formed in 2021, the band—comprised of Kimberley on lead vocals, Ollie on lead guitar, Nick on bass and backing vocals, Tom on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Jordan on drums—has been on a rapid ascent. Following the success of their debut EP, Feed Me Fire, and the single The Hunter, which earned airplay on BBC Introducing, Bloodflow further solidifies their place in the metal scene.

Bloodflow is an enthralling blend of crushing riffs, resounding drums, and soaring vocals. Kimberley’s vocal prowess takes center stage, delivering both power and vulnerability in a performance that resonates with raw emotion. Her voice captures the track’s theme of breaking free from the cycle of people-pleasing and reclaiming one’s personal boundaries. The band explains, “Bloodflow is an observation on individuals who tend to ‘people please’ at the detriment of their own happiness and boundaries,” a message that comes through strongly in both lyrics and sound.

With Bloodflow, Rogue Awakening continues to hone their sound, blending metal roots with a touch of melody that widens their appeal. Their live shows are also drawing attention, with recent performances at Guilfest and a packed schedule on the horizon. This single, with its potent message and powerful arrangement, is yet another chapter in the band’s compelling journey, and it’s only a matter of time before Rogue Awakening reaches even greater heights.
