Robyn Red is country music artist from Airdre, Scotland who is fast becoming one of the most talked about British Country Acts to date, 2019 sees Robyn take a trip to Los Angeles to compete in the World Championships of Performing Arts and returned home with a Gold & Silver medal. 2023 sees her reaching the finals of The British Country Music finals and being awarded the BCMA Horizon Artist of 2024, Robyn has won Clews Country music award for new artist, was a finalist for Artist Of The Year & Female Singer of The Year 2023. Fast forward and we find Robyn has played C2C @ The Hydro, Millport Country Music Festival, Buckle & Boots, British Country Music Festival, Foodies Festival & Bute Fest. Robyn has supported Ward Thomas & Tyler Booth, performed @ King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Half Moon in London & Birmingham’s Symphony Halls. Robyn has been busy writing and recording and today she unleashes her new song Between The Two Of Us which I will be reviewing for you today.

Between The Two Of Us – From the off we get that good ol country feel as Robyn brings her soulful vocals that just elevate this soaring track to another place for sure. We have lap steel guitar licks that really give this track a cool mature sound that fits Robyn to a tee, the punchy rhythm section comes in and lets the snare drum taps control the tone as we feel the instant connection to this rising country star as she lays herself bare in this coming of age arrangement that is just oozing musicality, maturity, depth and real heartfelt lyrics that make you stop and listen to the whole track, the fiddle tones are just awesome as we pick out the soaring bassline that is bringing depth to this incredible track that just catches your attention and makes you feel like you just walked into a saloon and spotted this rising talent pouring her heart out with this incredible track that will have you reaching for the repeat button for sure. If you get a chance to catch this young lady at a show you better hold on with both hands as you will not be disappointed.
