Avery Lynch is a rising singer / songwriter originally from Pennsylvania now based in Los Angeles who first came to our attention in 2020 when she enchanted listeners with her emotionally charged, piano-driven ballads which have amassed over 100 million streams. Avery has been busy in the studio writing / recording new music and today she brings us the highly emotional ballad The Boys Who Don’t Know What They Want which I will be reviewing for you today, please settle in and grab a cold one as I take us on this soulful journey.

The Boys Who Don’t Know What They Want – The track begins with a real thought provoking mellow piano intro that sets the tone as we feel the emotion oozing from the vocals as Avery grabs our attention. The lyrics are pulling you in as we are taken on a journey of discovery as we get lost in the melodic harmonies that are flowing from this real cool arrangement, the backing bassline is dropping dark, delicious grooves that wrap themselves around this incredible piece of music that just stops you in your tracks. The piano tones are incredible as they hold our attention as Avery leaves her astounding vocals that just make this track something special as we lose ourselves in the melodies that give this track a sulty feel.
