Review By Halina Wegner
Sixteen-year-old STORM is proving that age is just a number when it comes to delivering pure, unfiltered aggression. With his latest single, Walking Dead, he steps into a heavier, darker realm of melodic metalcore, showcasing a raw intensity that feels both ferocious and calculated.
From the very first note, Walking Dead grabs you by the throat. The guitars chug with unrelenting force, the drums hit like a sledgehammer, and STORM’s vocals are sharper than ever—switching between guttural growls and soaring melodies with ease. There’s an urgency to the track that makes it impossible to ignore, each breakdown and riff laced with a sense of impending chaos.
What makes Walking Dead stand out is its seamless balance between melody and brutality. STORM’s ability to blend crushing heaviness with anthemic hooks keeps the track dynamic and engaging. The chorus, in particular, is hauntingly infectious, cutting through the aggression with just enough melody to linger long after the song ends.
