Review By Darren McIntyre

Revenant are a 4 piece rock n roll juggernaut from Newbury, UK who were formed in 2023, the boys brought us their blistering debut EP What A Time To Be Alive in 2024. The boys have a busy year ahead and bring us their follow up EP Best Medicine and this will see them showcase some new tracks @ Maid Of Stone Festival, Quarantune Rocks & Steel Paws, this along with a smattering of shows all around the country.

The boys will be giving us a special hometown headline  show @ Corn Exchange Newbury, today the boys drop their new single Best Medicine which I will be reviewing for you today.

Best Medicine – The track comes to life with a real crunching guitar riff that is joined by a cool punchy rhythm beat that has snare drum beat with bass kicks that really get the juices flowing. Gravelly vocals are flowing effortlessly through the arrangement as the boys really hit the ground running with this new offering, the low end bassline is hitting us with cool, dark, delicious tones that really give this track some juice for sure. The track is a real toe tapping rocker track that has cool riffs and finger clicking rhythms that really catch your attention as the sweet guitar licks are unleashed and really let us feel the groove oozing from this cool 4 piece as they give it all they have, soaring melodies and crunching hooks that will have you reaching for the repeat button for sure.
