Review By Glen Parkes
Get ready to toss the rulebook and crank the glitter to eleven—Gypsy Pistoleros are back with a swagger-soaked, glam-slam-punk rager that’s as bold as its title: “I’m In Love With Myself.” Out now ahead of their upcoming album Church Of The Pistoleros (due May 2nd), this single is an unapologetic celebration of self-love, loud fashion, and louder guitars.
From the first snarl of vocals to the final strut of the solo, this track is a pure shot of renegade punk rock ‘n’ roll. Equal parts sleaze and sass, “I’m In Love With Myself” doesn’t just toe the glam-punk line—it kicks it into overdrive, drenched in leather, attitude, and a wink of tongue-in-cheek theatricality. This is Gypsy Pistoleros doing what they do best: raising hell and turning it into an anthem.

Frontman Gypsy Lee Pistolero delivers each line with rockstar flair, practically dripping with charisma as he leads this glitter-drenched rebellion of self-adoration. The band backs him with relentless punk energy and glam-soaked hooks that echo the likes of Hanoi Rocks, New York Dolls, and early Guns N’ Roses—if they were set loose on a tequila-fueled carnival ride in Madrid.
The upcoming fan-fuelled video promises to be a visual riot—wild, weird, and wonderfully in line with the band’s flamenco-punk-meets-MTV-1986 aesthetic. If this single is any indication, Church Of The Pistoleros is shaping up to be one of the most fun, fearless, and flamboyant rock records of the year.
Track:
- I’m In Love With Myself
Verdict:
A glam-punk banger for the bold and the beautiful. Gypsy Pistoleros have dropped a mirror-smashing anthem of self-celebration that demands to be played loud and proud.
