Roisin McCarney is a rising alternative / pop star based in Glasgow who is deeply rooted in her Scottish & Irish heritage. Roisin draws her inspirations from icon’s like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears & Stevie Nicks and infused her music with an energy that’s quickly making her a standout voice in the alt – pop scene. Roisin has captivated audiences at shows with support slots to Jess Glynne, festival slots @ Heartland, Butefest & Pride, tonight she is headlining King Tut’s to showcase some new songs which will hopefully lead to an album sometime in 2026. The place is filling up nicely as the lights dim, the PA fades and boom off we go as Roisin & her band take to the stage and hit us with the fun loving, funky –

SOS – The track begins with a funky. punchy rhythm section as the sweet, melodic vocals ease into the track as Roisin really gives it as she has in this opening number. Jay is on hand with little guitar nuggets that work well with the backing sampler grooves that are working their way through the track as the crowd bellows out their appreciation on this poppy groover track that has a nice toe tapping feel to it, the cool, soulful vocals are getting us into the mood as a smiling Roisin is getting the love from the crowd as we move onto –


Car Chase – Roisin takes the hollering & applause from the crowd as she steps in front of the mic as this poptastic, energy rising track comes at us with real gusto. The mellow vocals are working the crowd as the punchy rhythm section brings a cool snare drum beat that commands the room as Roisin shifts through the gears and lets dance – laden piece work it’s magic as the crowd sing back to her and really let the night wrap itself around us as the place jumps around to the slick, punchy, popathon track that leads us onto –

Call Me (Blondie Cover) – A familiar groove rolls through Tut’s tonight as Roisin bellows out the classic track as we feel the diva get released as the slick, gritty guitar riffs rain down on us. The cool bass kicks let the snare drum punches get this classic number on the road as Roisin gets into Blondie – esque raspy vocals that let us know that it’s a real groove laden beat, the boys are just wrapping their style around this punchy classic that just puts a smile on your face, the place is making a racket and really letting Roisin feel the love from a packed out Tut’s that is the place to be tonight, we roll into –


73% – A nice, funky synth beat ripples through the intro as Roisin lets her smouldering tones lead the track as the tone rises with a punchy rhythm section that gets us movin & a groovin. The vocals are flowing effortlessly through the venue as the crowd are hollering their appreciation as the gig really builds in confidence as the band comes in and really gives Roisin the support she so rightly deselves. The crowd are clapping and singing along as the tempo chhe temperature rises as we fell the emotion pouring from the stage as the cool backing tones let the track breathe as the cool guitar licks accompany this toe tapping funky number. Even If We Ain’t Right – The tone oozes into the track as a nice, sweet acoustic strumming chord ripples through the track as the snare drum beats bring a cool, funky, edgy groove to the track. Roisin’s smouldering vocals are just fantastic and fit this arrangement perfectly as the boys provide the perfect backdrop to this cool little number, the lyrics are like a self discovering journey that really makes Roisin that little bit more likeable. The shift in tempo suits the crowd as they feel every note that is oozing from the stage as we lean into –

Beam Me Up – A nice little ballad track soothes us as Roisin lets her colossal, smouldering tones ease through Tut’s tonight as the crowd stands silent as she really hits us with some killer lyrics that just grab our attention. The boys are bringing the groove with a nice tempo that just allows us to see a little vulnerability from this young musician as she takes us on the journey with her as she showcases som many different sides to this alt – pop star in the making, we move into something a little different –
I’ve Got It Bad – Roisin gives the boys a break as she goes solo with her guitar as she strums lightly and lets her fantastic vocals flow freely through the venue as this nice number comes at us. The lyrics are just awesome as the crowd really gets behind her and give her loads of encouragement to really bring the heat to Tut’s tonight. The sweet little track as showing us another side to this talented musician as she just tells her story and what this track means to her, the place is getting out their phones and shooting lots of footage to let people know they missed a cool night of music, we slide into –

Praying – Roisin takes to the keys and tells us she wrote this emotional piece whilst going through her Cancer and says these were some of her darkest days but didn’t let it beat her. She begins by asking us to shout out I Am Fucking Amazing and we roar back I Am Fucking Amazing as the track comes to life. The soothing, mellow vocals let us see the more vulnerable side to her as she takes us on the journey with her to let us see and hear the emotion pouring from the track as the crowd watches on intently as Roisin really lets the lyrics wrap themselves around us, we are feeling the love oozing from the stage as Roisin dressed in her tartan get up struts around the stage and leads us into –
Mr Right Now – We return to a more rockier sound as the rhythm section punches a hole into Tut’s with a fast, furious groove that lets the track erupt with a cool punchy snare drum groove. The slick, crisp guitar riffs are filling the place as Roisin brings her soulful, melodic, pop style vocals to this toe tapping alt – pop bruiser that lets the guitar solo flow into the fist pumping, punchy, groove laden track as the band shifts through the gears and delivers a cool vibrant tone that gets us all singing along and feeling Roisin bare her soul as we hit –


Talk Dirty To Me – A real sultry, soulful vocals rumbles through the intro the sampler tones linger as the track kicks in with a cool, punchy bass kick that lets the snare drum beats get the groover track on the move. The place is being treated to a real varied setlist as Roisin takes us on a rollercoaster ride of emotion filled songs that let us know that everything she sings is from the heart, we range is just fantastic as she prowls around the stage and belts out the smoldering lyrics that just catch our attention. The place is just bubbling with sheer joy as we watch this young musician bring the fun to the venue tonight as we stroll into –

Meet Me In Montauk – This is a real emotion filled number that lets Roisin tell the story about the track as she starts strumming alone on the stage as she asks us can she try something, we reply yes. Roisin unplugs her acoustic guitar and walks to the middle of Tut’s just under the sound desk and begins the song again, I will say that it’s one of those pinch me moments as the guitar comes alive as Roisin belts out the lyrics to a stunned, silent room as she delivers a faultless vocal that has everyone taking out their phones and getting a video of this stunning moment that just raised the emotion filled night to another level. The crowd are watching her do her thing as she strums on the guitar as the crowd are swaying and feeling the love coming from this talented young musician as she has us in the palm of her hand as we step into –

Villian – The night returns to a rockier, funky groove laden night as the rhythm section kicks off the track with a snare drum beat as the gritty guitar riffs fill the air as the place starts bopping around and letting us see the rockier, raunchy side of this promising pop star as she digs deep and lets her vocals do the talking as this funky groover builds and builds as the boys come through with a cool rhythm bursting, guitar driven number that just puts a smile on your face as the tempo changes pace. The rhythm section controls the direction of this cool rocker style groover as Roisin lets her soaring vocals do their thing as we hurtle through this growing setlist and roll into –

Concrete Angel – We roll into the last couple of tracks with this toe tapping piece that just gets the juices flowing as Roisin & the boys dig deep and get us all jumping around. Guitar tones are flowing through the track Roisin brings a real 80’s vibe to this cool arrangement. The rhythm section is hitting us with snare drum beats that let the track breathe as the place just readies itself to go a bit nuts as we just watch the stage and begin to think this is where this young, talented musician belongs, rightly so as we feel the energy oozing from this little powerkeg artist that knows what she wants and how to get it, we return to –

Meet Me In Montauk – Roisin begins with a cool, sweet vocals that the track open as we get the groovier offering as the bass kicks come through as snare drum taps provide a nice backdrop to this soulful number. We are singing along with the band as the tempo changes pace as the place just gives her what she deserves, a lot of noise and support. The night has been a real rollercoaster as Roisin has shown why she deserves to be on stage as her band gave her real support as the bass kicks fill the air as the slick, melodic guitar licks reach every corner of the venue as we drive right into a full on remix that is a perfect way to finight the night –
Sparkos Remix – The place goes bat – shit crazy as the tempo reaches fever pitch as Roisin asks us to go mental as this synth laden groover gets us all fired up. The tempo is fast, furious, dancy and just gets us all in the party mood as we wish Roisin well and will definitely see her again.
