Fires in The Distance tour featuring Solemn Vision, Aversed, and Fallehin Fall this June

By Lily O’Delia

Fires in the Distance are taking Air Not Meant For Us back on the road.

The Connecticut melodic death-doom band has announced a new headlining run this June, titled the “Visions of the Fall” tour, bringing their sweeping, emotionally devastating sound across the East Coast and into Canada for a highly anticipated string of dates.

After the momentum of their acclaimed sophomore record, the band seems poised for another major step forward. Over the last year, Fires in the Distance have carved out a distinct place within modern heavy music, balancing crushing riffs with mournful atmosphere, orchestral flourishes, and the kind of melodic depth that lingers long after the final note fades.

The tour begins June 4 in Boston before moving through Brooklyn and Delaware, then heading north for a three-night Canadian stretch in Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City.

“Visions of the Fall” 2026 Tour Dates

• June 4 — Boston, MA @ The Rockwell (with Aversed and Fellahin Fall)

• June 5 — Brooklyn, NY @ The Meadows (with Aversed, Fellahin Fall, and Solemn Vision)

• June 6 — Milton, DE @ 793 Fest (with Fellahin Fall)

• June 19 — Toronto, ON @ The Baby G (with Solemn Vision)

• June 20 — Montreal, QC @ Piranha Bar (with Solemn Vision)

• June 21 — Quebec City, QC @ L’Anti Bar & Spectacles (with Solemn Vision)

The supporting lineup makes this run especially compelling. Boston’s Aversed brings its progressive extreme metal precision, while Fellahin Fall continues to represent the darker, more atmospheric edge of New York’s underground.

Joining the New York and Canadian dates is Solemn Vision, the Brooklyn-based band that has steadily built a devoted following through its blend of progressive and extreme metal influences.

Coming out of the grit and energy of the New York metal scene, the five-piece, led by the versatile vocals of Aaron Harris, has developed a sound that moves between technical aggression and soaring melodic passages with ease. Their latest record, Despite the Rise of the Sun, drew comparisons to genre staples like Opeth and Be’lakor, a testament to both their musical ambition and emotional range.

Onstage, Solemn Vision brings an intensity that feels both immediate and immersive, shifting effortlessly from punishing heaviness into moments of atmosphere and beauty. Their addition to this run rounds out a lineup that feels like a true showcase of where modern melodic metal is right now.

Since signing with Prosthetic Records, Fires in the Distance have become one of the most compelling names in contemporary death-doom. Air Not Meant For Us was widely celebrated upon release for the way it merges piano-driven melancholy with immense sonic heaviness. With whispers of a third full-length in the final stages, fans may also be treated to a few surprises in the setlist.

Tickets for all dates are on sale now, with VIP information and further updates available through the band’s official channels.
