Review By Darren McIntyre
Cassidy Paris is a young, energetic fireball musician from Melbourne, Australia who began her journey into the world of rock n roll aged 11years old. Cassidy met and began to work with Paul Laine (Danger Danger) who began to transform this musician into the little pocket rocket she is today. Growing up in the era of Lizzy Hale, Joan Jett, Pink, Pat Benatar & Avril Lavigne she is on a mission to inspire a whole new generation of female rock stars for the future. Having given us multiple singles & an EP Flirt this has given Cassidy the opportunity to tour with the likes of H.E.A.T. & John Corabi and stints in the USA & Japan. Cassidy has previously toured the UK and brought her infectious brand of rock n roll to the masses and today she returns with her blistering new track Stronger which I will be bringing you today.
Stronger – From the off the track grabs you by the throat and lets us know that Cassidy is back swinging and bringing the 80’s rock kicking and screaming to us right now. The killer keys are really giving it that groove feel that is just in right now as her soulful, melodic, powering vocals kick in the doors and really sock it to us, the punchy rhythm section is coming at us with a real snappy snare drum groove as the bass kicks get the tone just right. The full on bassline is dropping cool, dark, brooding grooves that really let this track fly as we feel the energy pouring from this young, energetic, force of nature as she really delivers on all levels with this punchy, in your face monster track that is just building and building with every note that comes from this killer band as they just keep it tight, fresh and in your face.
