Review By Darren McIntyre
Adam & The Hellcats are a punk – infused 6 – piece rock n roll juggernaut from Bristol. England who have built a fierce & formidable reputation on the UK Rock Circuit. The band have shared the stage with the likes of Syteria, The Wildhearts, toured with US Rock heavyweights Hearts & Handgrenades & UK Rockers White Raven Down, they have been a hit on the festival circuit playing Station 18, Dementia Aware Fest, Crazy Cowboy Festival & HRH Festival. The band return with their blistering new single Another Sad Song which I will be reviewing for you today.
Another Sad Song – The track bursts into life with a thundering rhythm section that hits us with punchy snare drum beats that really let the track breakout as the killer keytar notes flow effortlessly through the track. The funky bassline is handing us meaty, funk laden grooves that just compliment the track so well, we get the soaring twin vocal assault that just lets the track build as we get slick, clean guitar licks that really give this track depth, swagger and bags of attitude. The fast, furious groove laden track just gets stuck in your head as the punchy, melodic melodies really get your feet moving to this infectious beat, the band are back, bigger, brighter and punchier with this killer single that will have you reaching for the repeat button for sure.
