Robert Jon & The Wreck are a blues rock 5 piece hailing from Orange County, Southern California who have been riding on the crest of a wave at the minute, sold out European tours, award winning live album that has seen them gather new fans from far &and wide. The boys are one of the hardest working rock n roll bands on the scene at the minute and have been touring constantly throughout Europe / USA and beyond, the boys have given us 8 albums and a bucketload of singles that is gaining them new fans across the globe. The boys drop their new album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes on the 22nd August and to cement their new release the boys are embarking on tours across the UK, Europe and later the USA & beyond, they have been busy in the studio rattling out some new tracks and  they have given  us  the infectious track Dark Angel, Keep Myself Clean and they throw in their new blues offering I Wanna Give It, these tracks are  from soon to be released new album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes so please join me as I take us through this blistering new arrangement.

I Wanna Give It – A cool Hammond style tone opens the track up as the punchy rhythm section brings the groove with a solid snare drum beat that allows the beat to flow freely as the track gathers pace. Robert leans in with his husky, gravelly vocals that just wrap themselves around this cool blues infused rocker track that lets the low end bassline drop in with funky, dark, delicious grooves that have us tapping our feet to this emotion filled number that lets the twin guitar assault give this track depth, swagger and bags of attitude as the boys up their game with this country affair that is building in stature as they dig deep and really sock it to us with this deep southern draw that just puts asmile on your face with it’s punchy tones, killer licks and cool lyrics that will have us reaching for the repeat button for sure.Robert Jon & The Wreck  –
