Day 3 at Firevolt Festival 2025 wasn’t just another chapter in a long weekend of music—it was the day the festival truly roared, crackled, and erupted into a blaze of unforgettable performances. From early morning wake-up calls to late-night anthems, this weekend as become a living, breathing epicentre of rock energy. If Day 1 and Day 2 were about building momentum, Day 3 was the ignition point where everything went nuclear.

Liberty Slaves – Waking the Dead with Rock ’n’ Roll Authority
Kicking off the day, my good friends Liberty Slaves wasted no time in setting the standard sky-high. With Ryan’s deep, commanding vocals front and centre, the band powered through a set that reminded everyone why raw, unapologetic rock ’n’ roll never goes out of style. Their hard-hitting riffs rolled across the field like thunder, while their choruses felt like a rallying cry to shake off the festival fatigue.

“Pure wake-up call energy—like an alarm clock made of Marshall stacks.”
Liberty Slaves weren’t here to gently ease the crowd into the day. They were here to set it ablaze. And they did exactly that.
The Soul Revival – The Surprise Gem of the Morning
Next came The Soul Revival, a band I hadn’t encountered before—and what a discovery they turned out to be. Their sound was a gritty, guitar-driven punch to the gut, dripping with intensity and authenticity. It’s always a thrill to stumble upon a new act at a festival that stops you dead in your tracks, and The Soul Revival did just that.

Their heavy guitar work and impassioned vocals left a mark, with a sound that carried both grit and groove. If Liberty Slaves woke us up, The Soul Revival made sure we were standing tall, fists raised.
“A band that didn’t just play songs—they carved them into the morning air like scripture.”
Tom Kilner – Blues Swagger and Soulful Storytelling

The tempo shifted but the energy never dropped as Tom Kilner took the stage. Kilner’s American blues influence poured out in every lick of his guitar and every soulful vocal line. He’s the kind of performer who makes the blues feel both timeless and urgent, weaving heartfelt storytelling with sheer technical mastery.

The crowd swayed, sang, and let the grooves take over. Kilner isn’t about gimmicks—he’s about heart, and his set was soaked in it.
Blue Nation – Modern Blues with Timeless Spirit
Keeping the blues flame alive, Blue Nation delivered one of the most magnetic sets of the day. Anticipation had been high, and they absolutely delivered. Their performance was polished yet raw, a balancing act few bands pull off so well.

From soaring guitar work to a commanding stage presence, every second felt like an affirmation that Blue Nation belong on stages like this. Their sound was classic and fresh all at once, pulling the crowd deeper into their world with each track.

“If Tom Kilner lit the torch, Blue Nation carried it like Olympic champions.”
The Lazys – Australia’s Finest Set the Stage on Fire
Then came the turning point of the festival—The Lazys. All the way from Australia, they bounded onto the stage like a storm barely contained. Their energy was nuclear from the first note, and it didn’t fade for a single second.

This wasn’t just a performance—it was a detonation. The Lazys blurred the line between stage and crowd, pulling everyone into their orbit. Their riffs hit like lightning, their choruses exploded like fireworks, and their sheer joy at being there was infectious.

“If Firevolt had veins, The Lazys injected them with pure adrenaline. Easily one of the best sets of the festival.”
Dan Byrne – A Voice that Commands the Sky
By the time Dan Byrne stepped on stage, the crowd was buzzing with anticipation. A festival favourite, Byrne didn’t just live up to expectations—he obliterated them. His vocals are the kind that demand attention, soaring across the field with a mix of raw power and heartfelt emotion.

Whether belting out stadium-ready anthems or delivering tender, poignant lines, Byrne proved why he’s become a cornerstone of Firevolt. Every note carried conviction, and his connection with the audience was magnetic.

The Picture Books – German Innovation Meets Festival Spirit
A wildcard for many in the crowd, Germany’s The Picture Books brought something truly unique. Their set fused grit, atmosphere, and raw creativity into something hard to pigeonhole. Admittedly not my usual taste, but even I found myself nodding along, swept up in their unusual yet commanding approach.

The crowd? They ate it up. It’s moments like these that show the beauty of festivals: discovering something different, and realising it hits harder than you expected.

“Unpredictable, unorthodox, unforgettable—The Picture Books didn’t just play, they reshaped the space around them.”
The Von Hertzen Brothers – A Masterclass in Momentum
By the time The Von Hertzen Brothers hit the stage, Firevolt was already in full throttle. They didn’t just ride that wave—they amplified it. Their set was tight, polished, and delivered with an energy that had the crowd locked in.

The fanbase turned up in full force, singing every word, and the band responded with a performance that brimmed with joy and intensity. There’s something about watching a band and their fans connect in such perfect harmony—it’s electric, and The Von Hertzen Brothers nailed it.

Eclipse – A Headliner Worthy of the Throne

And then, the finale: Eclipse. Flying in from Sweden, they brought the kind of showmanship that makes headliners unforgettable. From the first riff to the last soaring chorus, they delivered a set that ticked every box—melody, power, precision, and sheer electricity.

Their killer riffs, blistering solos, and sky-high melodies cemented their headline slot as more than just deserved—it was destiny. The crowd soaked in every note, fists in the air, voices raised, united under the Firevolt sky.

“Eclipse didn’t just close Firevolt—they sealed it with fire, fury, and unforgettable glory.”
Day 3 of Firevolt Festival 2025 wasn’t just a lineup—it was a journey. From Liberty Slaves’ thunderous wake-up call to Eclipse’s headlining fireworks, the day crackled with a mix of discovery, nostalgia, and pure rock ’n’ roll firepower.

What stood out most wasn’t just the music, but the community. Strangers became friends, voices became choirs, and the field became something more than just a venue. It became a home for everyone who believes in the power of music.
“Firevolt 2025 proved once again that it’s not just a festival
it’s a pilgrimage for rock lovers.”
If you weren’t there, you missed something extraordinary. If you were—you’ll be talking about Day 3 for years to come.
