Powerhouse hitmakers Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen release their new duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore” today via SAWGOD/Columbia Records, arriving just days after its surprise onstage debut and pairing raw, conversational lyrics with aching melodies as the two trade verses on a love at its breaking point. “I Can’t Love You Anymore” was written by Langley with Austin Goodloe and Joybeth Taylor, with production also by Langley alongside Ben West and Austin Goodloe.
Langley first teased “I Can’t Love You Anymore” in the music video for her Platinum-certified smash “Choosin’ Texas”. In the visual, now boasting over 18 millions views, she drives off with Miranda Lambert, with a subtle nod to the song hidden in the license plate reading “ICLYA”, fueling online buzz when the Dandelion tracklist dropped with no song matching the acronym.
Fans first got a live taste of the collaboration this past weekend, during a stop on Wallen’s ‘Still The Problem Tour.’ Langley surprised the stadium crowd in her home state of Alabama with a special onstage appearance at Bryant-Denny, joining Wallen for the debut of their new duet.
“Ella and I have been talking about doing a song for a little while now,” reflects Wallen. “We have been on tour together and I’m a huge fan of what she does. She wrote and sent over this song and from the beginning riff, it was hard to deny. I’m honored she wanted me to be the one to do it with her.”
To celebrate the release, Langley and Wallen have also introduced a limited-edition T-shirt featuring a split license plate design, nodding to their home states of Alabama and Tennessee.
The release comes during a historic-milestone week for Langley, as her sophomore album Dandelion hit Top 10 in the UK album charts and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking the largest week for a country album by a woman in two years and the biggest week of 2026 for any female artist – and makes Ella just the second female country artist this decade to chart in the UK Top 20. The album’s impact continues across the US and UK charts, as Platinum-certified smash “Choosin’ Texas” continues to sit in the Top 20 UK single charts having peaked at No.13, it also holds No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week and leads the Billboard Hot Country Songs for 21 weeks, while standout track “Be Her” holds at No. 2 on Hot Country Songs and climbs to No. 4 on the Hot 100, making Langley the first country female artist to chart two songs in the Top 5 simultaneously. She also becomes the first female artist to hold the top two spots on the Billboard Streaming Songs with country releases, and the first woman to place two solo songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Country Airplay at the same time. Both ‘Be Her’ and ‘Bottom Of Your Boots’, are also in the UK single charts alongside ‘Choosin Texas’. Dandelion was executive produced by Langley alongside Lambert and Ben West.
Up next, Langley will bring Dandelion to the stage on her first-ever sold out headline arena run, ‘The Dandelion Tour,’ kicking off May 7 in Toledo, OH before hitting St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Austin and more, and wrapping August 15 in Fort Worth, TX.
