Ukrainian Alt Metal Band No Apology Kick off European Tour in London

Poland based Ukrainian Alt Rockers No Apology took to the stage in London to start their European tour. The band consisting of social media star singer Daria Zaritskaya, guitarist Sergey Sershen and drummer Przemek Nałazek started the evening with a meet and greet to meet their UK based fans before giving the stage over to Brighton based quartet Sypha. The gig was an extremely intimate one with less that a couple of hundred in attendance and the bands being within touching distance from those at the front of the stage providing an atmosphere not felt at larger events.

The UK based band opened with track “Limbo” which brought the energy from the very first second. The pounding drums starting proceedings before the heavy guitars entered the fray before being joined by Alicia Pilling’s distinctive vocals. The singer demonstrating her range before Alfred Atkin’s guitar breakdown. The band performed almost the entirety of their 2026 album “Bad Choices”. Doing their best to deliver a performance on the small stage the group were animated in their performance swapping positions when possible. The group who take inspiration from bands such as Avenged Sevenfold and Halestorm delivered an appreciated set that climaxed with their most streamed track “Hear We Go Again”. It’s infectious drum and bass style rhythmic intro had the crow bouncing before the catchy chorus had even kicked in. As the heavy vocal ending climaxed the set, those gathered showed their appreciation and many will go away as new fans of the band.

After a slight delay No Apology members Sershen and Nałazek took to the stage before being joined by Zaritskaya after the music had started. The band opened with “I’m Done” the final track from album “Uncovered”. The album featuring heavily in the set list with eight tracks taken from the 2025 release. Zaritskaya was clearly taken aback by the closeness of the crowd but used it to her advantage to enthral the audience. She was able to show her personality through her movement despite not being able to do her more recognisable strut around the stage. 2023 single Deadhearted had captured the attention of the crowd as one of the bands most popular songs. The band’s heavy, aggressive undertones strongly compliment the soaring catchy vocals. The contrast of the two giving the group their own distinct sound. The band finished the set with an encore medley of cover songs where the crowd could be heard singing along. No Apology ended to warm applause as they ended the first gig of their 8-date European tour, moving on next to the island of Mallorca.
