Party Cannon’s show at The Craufurd Arms was nothing short of chaotic brilliance. This band isn’t just known for their heavy sound but also for their wild antics that make their performances unforgettable. Imagine two stage jesters with pumpkin heads, soaking the crowd with water guns, tossing beach balls, and launching a blow-up orca into the pit—all while the band unleashed relentless death metal.

Their antics, though over-the-top, shouldn’t detract from the fact that Party Cannon are incredibly talented musicians. The main vocalist roared like an enraged beast throughout the set, with a voice so raw you’d think he needed gallons of honey to soothe his throat afterward. The crowd absolutely adored him, and the connection with fans was electric, from push-up pits and circle pits to all-out mosh mayhem.

The energy in the room was contagious. Even though I got walloped a few times in the pit, the crowd respected the chaos. Stage invasions and crowd surfing became second nature to the evening. With a fantastic turnout and two more acts in the bar, the night was packed with entertainment.

Party Cannon does death metal their own way, adding a layer of playful insanity to the brutality. Having performed at Bloodstock before, it’s clear they know how to put on an unforgettable show. Scary? Definitely. But absolutely entertaining, too.
