Review By Darren McIntyre
Adam & The Hellcats are an unstoppable 6 – piece rock n roll juggernaut from Bristol, Englandwho are carving out a fierce reputation on the UK rock circuit. The band have been earning their stripes by touring & supporting the likes of Jackie Chambers band Syteria, opened for The Wildhearts and shared the stage with US rockers Hearts & Hand Grenades & rising UK favourites White Raven Down. The boys have also hit the stages of festivals Dementia Aware Fest, Crazy Cowboy Festival, Rocking By The River & HRH, the boys drop their emotion filled new single Go Easy which I will be bringing you today.
Go Easy – A nice, smooth acoustic guitar tone wanders through the intro as a deep violin tone comes through as the spoken lyric vocals make themselves known. The smooth backing vocals are weaving their way through the track as we feel the emotion coming from the boys as the track changes pace and brings in a cool snare drum beat that lets the boys drop in with a mellow bassline that wraps itself around the crunching guitar riffs that are coming for us. The thought provoking number has everything in it with bellowing guitar riffs, solid snare drum beats and a killer bassline that is just lifting the track with it’s awesome tone, the boys are coming through with a real gutsy riff that is helped along the way with keytar notes that blend together easily as this crunching, indie style track puts a smile on your face as the easy going tones blend well with the musicality that comes from each member of this 6 – piece rock n roll juggernaut.
