Single – Nothing Without Me
Release Date – 19th September 25
Review by Linda McDermott
We Three Kings know exactly how to make rock ’n’ roll feel alive. Their sound is all about riffs, grit, and a proper dose of attitude, throwing fuzzed-up blues-rock into punchy three-minute tracks that are nothing short of addictive. With Rich leading the charge on vocals and guitar, Pete pounding it out on drums, and their third (and bony) bandmate Bonesy keeping watch from the stage, they’ve carved out a style that they say would sit nicely alongside the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Rival Sons, The Black Keys, and Jack White.
On record they’re a treat, but live is where it really kicks off. I caught them at Firevolt Festival recently, and their no-nonsense, high-energy set proved just how much they can fire up a crowd. The trio, yes, Bonesy definitely counts, have plenty of material to dive into, with their 2024 album By Royal Appointment as well as a host of well-received singles. It’s all up on the streaming sites and well worth a listen, especially if you’re after something that gets the blood pumping. Even the tracks you know from that album take on a new energy when you hear them live, and it’s easy to see why fans keep coming back for more.
‘Nothing Without Me’ is the first single from We Three Kings’ upcoming second album, due in spring 2026. It follows on nicely from their 2024 album, showing that the band have taken a step forward with their sound while staying true to what made them so good in the first place. Fans of their earlier work will feel right at home here, while newcomers will find this a solid introduction to the band’s sound.

The track is everything you’d expect from them, big guitar riffs, pounding drums, and Rich’s clear vocals cutting through with real emotion. There’s a chorus that sticks in your head straight away, and the whole thing carries that raw, no-nonsense energy that has become their trademark.
‘Nothing Without Me’ feels like a natural step forward for the band, giving fans exactly what they want while hinting at more to come on the new album. It’s a strong start and a sign that We Three Kings are gearing up for another big year.
